Guidelines on Applying for Official Transcripts and Certification Documents of Postgraduate Students
- Official Transcripts
1. Students can print the official transcript at the self-service printer outside the Graduate School office in Student Center 302, using the applicant’s student card or the student account. (Applicable to current postgraduate students)
2. Students can print the official transcript at the self-service printer outside the Graduate School office in Student Center 302, using the applicant’s ID card. (Applicable to graduates)
3. For applicants not on campus, please pay on the CUHK-Shenzhen “On-line Payment Platform” or transfer the corresponding fee to the following bank account and send the payment screenshot as an attachment to the Graduate School email (gs@cuhk.edu.cn) with the subject: Name-Student ID-Transcript Application. Please indicate the number of copies of the Chinese and English transcripts in the email. (Applicable to current postgraduate students and graduates)
The Graduate School will process the application within 3 working days upon receiving complete information.

- Certification of Study Status
1. Enrollment Certificate (For current postgraduate students):
Students can print the letter of certification at the self-service printer outside the Graduate School office in Student Center 302, using the applicant’s student card or the student account. (RMB 20 per copy and the first five copies free)
2. Study Mode Certificate:
(1) Current postgraduate students can print for free at the self-service printer outside the Graduate School office at Student Center 302 with the student card.
(2) Graduate students can print for free at the self-service printer outside the Graduate School office at Student Center 302 with their identity cards.

*Remarks: There is no fixed template for this type of certification document, and the applicants should draft the content by themselves.
2. Sealing
The Graduate School only provides small envelopes. If a large envelope is required, please bring the envelope and materials to the Graduate School office, and the Graduate School staff will seal them on-site with stamp on the sealing part.
- Document Collection
- Collection in person: collect paper documents at the Graduate School office with your student card.
- Entrusted Collection: collect paper documents at the Graduate School office with the notification email from the Graduate School.
- Mailing or Email Delivery: Fill out the Address Slip (Attachment II) and send it back to the Graduate School email (gs@cuhk.edu.cn) as an attachment.
Mailing Time: Every Friday before 5:00 p.m.
(Mail handling closes at 5:00 p.m. every Thursday. Applications received after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday will be processed and sent out next Friday.)
Mailing Method: SF Express paid by the recipient upon arrival
- Service Acceptance Time and Location of the Graduate School
Service Acceptance Time: Monday to Friday 9:00-11:30, 14:00-17:00; Self-service printing equipment operates 24 hours.
Office Location: Student Center 302, the Graduate School Office
Remark: Printed documents or transcripts will be retained for six months. Failure to collect before the deadline will be considered abandonment, and the Graduate School will destroy them regularly.
